Clear Channel goes interactive in U.S. airports

Clear Channel Airports and Monster Media are to install gesture-controlled digital out-of-home screens in airports across the U.S., with the first deployment going live next week at Seattle-Tacoma International.

This installation comprises nine 46-inch LCD screens arranged in a 3x3 grid. Users can touch or point at the displays to interact with advertising content on them.

“The appeal extends beyond bringing advertisers’ messaging to life by delivering built-in audience measurement as the displays track gestures,” said Toby J. Sturek, president of Clear Channel Airports.
