CBS Outdoor claims HD poster first
CBS Outdoor in the U.S. says it is the first media owner to use HD video on a station-platform poster.
It is employing ten-inch LCD screens with audio, embedded inside conventional two-sheet poster frames, to form what it calls “video two-sheets” at Times Square subway station in New York.
The screens were switched on Monday as part of HBO’s domination campaign in the station to promote its True Blood TV series.
OOH specialist Engagement Media and signage firm StandOut Graphics worked on the project.
