Brazilian bar installs World Cup network

Brazilian digital out-of-home firm Inbox has built a World Cup screen network for a bar in its home city of Belém.

The network in Bar da Copa has more than 40 standalone displays as well as two video walls using 18 46-inch LCD screens.

As well as advertising in silent 15-second spots and – of course – soccer matches, the screens are showing content including World Cup trivia and quizzes.

The bar, which can accommodate 3000 patrons, also has four interactive systems supplied by Inbox which use 19-inch touchscreens to register visitors and let them make their forecast on the outcome of the soccer tournament.

Inbox operates more than 350 out-of-home displays in Belém, capital of the state of Pará in the northern part of Brazil, in venues including malls, gyms, pharmacies and cinemas.
