
Jordanian billboard firm moves into digital
An outdoor media owner in Jordan has deployed its first digital billboard and plans to install another three, as digital out-of-home advertising slowly becomes a part of the Middle Eastern streetscape.
Energy Outdoor Advertising says the 78-square-metre LED billboard in the Jordanian capital Amman, supplied by Prismaflex, is just the first in a planned network.
It is using Navori Server, Player and Watchdog software to drive the billboard.
The Jordanian company, established in 2005, also has extensive holdings in non-digital outdoor media across the country.
