At relaunched stadium, screens are the first spectacle

Sixty screens carrying advertising as well as customer communications are greeting visitors to the revamped San Diego Sports Arena.

The 42-inch Sharp LCD displays have been installed as part of an upgrade to the 16,000-seater venue, managed by AEG Facilities, which includes new seating and a makeover for the club.

About half of the screens are located at the four entrances, and the remainder along walkways and in the club.

They show details of forthcoming events and promotions, sponsor communications and third-party advertising.

Software, media players, content development and project management were provided by Allure Global Solutions.
