OOH Media adds sites in India’s top restaurant cities

India’s OOH Media is expanding its restaurant network into properties owned by Blue Foods in major cities across the country.

About 100 screens are being installed at Blue Foods locations in Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. The company’s brands include Bombay Blue, Gelato, Noodle Bar and Spaghetti Kitchen.

Each screen will show a 12-minute loop, with eight minutes of advertising and four of content including music videos, film promotions and competitions.

Mumbai is home to the most frequent restaurant visitors in India, according to Nielsen research, while Bangalore, Delhi and Pune also appear in the top five locations. Only one of those top five eating-out cities – Chennai – is not involved in the OOH Media/Blue Foods rollout.

The deal will bring OOH Media’s restaurant estate to some 560 screens. In total the company has more than 5000 displays across a range of venue types.

indeed this is very surprising since a lot of ooh media's partners are claiming that ooh media is pulling out of their locations.

OOH at Blue food

Surprising to read this since Blue foods chain of restaurants has been recently acquired by Kishore Biyani (Future Retail group) who owns Future TV which operates on the same business model as OOH. Has OOH been bought out by Future TV ??
