Ireland’s Meteor puts digital signage in store windows

Irish mobile-phone operator Meteor has installed in-window digital signage across its retail estate.

The firm is running advertising 24 hours a day in the windows of all 39 of its stores in the Republic of Ireland.

Each outlet has two 47-inch Sony Professional LCD screens.

Meteor sales director Garry Doyle said the system “allows us to play animated advertisements on a loop 24 hours a day, advertising our latest phones and offers, and gives us a flexibility to change our displays at very short notice, to advertise different offers in different stores and to react to any change in the market place quickly”.
