Fuel-station networks seek lottery advertisers
The California State Lottery is the first advertiser signing up for a new service offered to lottery operators by Outcast Media and PumpTop TV in the U.S.
The firms, which have networks of screens in gas-station forecourts and convenience stores, say state lotteries can use them to display promotional messaging – including directions to the nearest place where lottery tickets can be bought – alongside up-to-date information on jackpots.
Their 12,600 screens reach 20m viewers monthly.
